Poem on Jonah chapter 3 (Mercy Samuel)

Poem on Jonah chapter 3

By Mercy Samuel

Jonah was again back on shore

God reminded him once more

Nineveh was a great city in sin

His righteous anger will soon begin

Prophet Jonah said, in a sober tone

In forty days you’ll be o’er thrown

Repent Nineveh fast and pray

God’s word you must obey.

The People of Nineveh earnestly believed

And cried out to the Lord in deep grief

Their repentant heart, God observed

And withdrew judgment they deserved!

  2. I have been giving messages in our family worship services (3 joint comprising of almost 50 members)in the morning and evening every Sunday since lockdown in March.
I have closely been following kcfnewtown 's live services (recording) and have greatly been touched by messages on Jonah.
With Rev.Ashok's permission,I have been reproducing messages on Jonah(1&2).
Some of my family members have renewed their commitments to the Lord, but I know some of my nephews are struggling with certain habits. I have spoken to one of my nieces and we have started devotion and prayer this morning at 4:30 am.
Please pray for me and my family members.
    Tomorrow I will speak on Jonah 3 & 4(morning n evening).
Praying and looking forward to God's messages from Pastor Ashok,Mai n Rahel.
    Thanks for your prayers.
